What an eventful week it was. After a brief foray below $60,000, BTC bulls have fought back to reclaim the level and if you were successfully following along with us, you managed to catch the dip!
Let’s quickly recap some of the action from within our community this week.
When can the real Altseason start?
First, this past Tuesday, VirtualBacon presented his research on Net Liquidity, the indicator that has predicted the last 3 Altcoin cycles and it should make you quite bullish….
A few key points:
Covered the current state of Bitcoin, Altcoin season, and how macroeconomic factors, particularly US Federal Reserve policies, are impacting the crypto markets.
Historically, Altcoin seasons have coincided with peaks in Bitcoin dominance and subsequent declines.
While Bitcoin had bounced off significant levels, it failed to break resistance, leading to further caution in the market.
He identified a key indicator—net liquidity, linked to the Fed’s actions on its balance sheet—that has accurately predicted previous Altcoin cycles.
The streams covered the importance of upcoming FOMC meetings in November and December, suggesting that if the Fed signals a slowdown or stop in its balance sheet reduction, it could mark the beginning of a new Altcoin season.
This would be the signal for a broader market uptrend…. aka the beginning of the long awaited Altcoin season!
